Hello, i have a Zenfone 3 ultra which i purchased in January 2017. It suddenly gave me the above error message on start up and i cant seem to log into my phone at all. I have followed your recovery mode, but it hasnt fixed my problem. Would you be able to help please?

If you are getting the error messages “Your device is corrupt. It cant be trusted and may not work properly” then here what you should do:

The solutions that you should take are totally depending on whether you have changed the operating system and if you have not changed it, then it is sure that you actually don’t know anything about it.

If you didn’t changed the OS by yourself, then

You should stop using the device in its current state. And it is strongly recommended that you must use the device in its original operating system.

You can contact the device manufacturer’s support center. Also note that before restoring the device to original OS, you must first back and restore all data of your device.

If you changed the operating system by yourself

If you have changed the OS by yourself, then you can continue to use your device. But, remember that it is you who acknowledge that your device may not work properly as well data and information of device can be exposed to corruption and security risks.

Dismiss the Error message:

The warning message “Your device is corrupt. It cant be trusted and may not work properly” should go away on its own after 10 seconds. And thereafter, your device will turn ON.

But in case, if you still see the error message, then you can press Power button once, to startup your device.

If you do not wish to continue using the device, then simply switch it off and contact the device manufacturer’s support center for help restoring the original operating system.
