Before you proceed further to root your Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, you must consider following things:

1. Install Sony Xperia Drivers - You need these drivers in order to connect your device with PC. Without these drivers, you will not be able to connect your device with PC. So first download and install these drivers on your PC first.

2. Enable USB Debugging Mode – You have to enable USB debugging. If you do not enable USB debugging mode on your device, then you can’t root your device.


3. Make sure your Phone is charged enough - Charge your phone battery to 60-80%, so that there should be no interruption during the rooting process.

Steps To Root Sony Xperia Z1 compact phone

Step 1: Download the root tool from this page. Save the files on your computer and unzip it and navigate through the resulted folder, you will see the - Newsroot.exe File.

Step 2: Now connect your Phone with your PC with the use of USB cable and run Newsroot.exe as administrator.

Step 3: Select the option “Check this to root your phone” and click on Proceed button. Just check out the screenshot below:


Step 4: A pop-up will appear on your phone. Just allow it to do its thing.
